Entro to "Something to Drink About"

Hello My name is Travis and I enjoy one of the finer things in life... BEER.  I started this blog to discuss some of the more famous and non-famous beer products out there. I enjoy both craft and non-craft beers, supporting the little man is just as important as enjoying a nice brew on a summer day.  I know some people think that beer and drinking are wrong, but here all I am trying to do is share a common interest.  If any body has anything to contribute please to do.

Discussions are welcome and are greatly needed.  Yes I am of legal age and responsible (disclaimer). Just a joke, but yes i do take this topic very seriously and this is just a place to enjoy a product.
I would like to start with my first beer.  This is one that I've been wanting to try for a while know and I finally get a chance to talk about it.   First up is...Shock Top Belgian White.  This beer comes from a long line of legendary brew masters from Anheuser-Busch.

I have to admit this would not be my first choice when entering to beer isle, with ingredients such as lemon, lime and orange peels.  Not only that but it requires a special pour technique.  What?  Once the beer is poured you are then instructed to roll the bottle around and empty the remainder into the glass.  This is to insure that all those little spices, and flavors end up in your glass.  As ridiculously as that may seems, it works.  You can really taste the different flavors.  Overall the Shock Top was good but not great.  It did however deliver a nice change of pace.

You may have noticed that in my post I didn't give a ranking of any sort.  Because that is not what I'm trying to accomplish.  Just a refreshing attitude towards to fun yet touchy topic.
